Question about '89 Ram D100 engine performance
My '89 D100 has a 318 with 85K miles. It runs fine but seems to run rich all the time. When started cold I expect the rich fumes from the exhaust and it does get better when warm but with the overdrive transmission it only get about 10 mpg. The exhaust pipe is always black. A few months ago I bought a very nice old '89 Ram from the family of the original owner that had passed away.
