    Oil catch can results!

I accumulated this after only a month. Sub-freezing temperatures and short trips are the biggest contributors.

    Synthetic Oil

A friend of mine works at lube tech so I had an UOA complete on my last oil change. It want the most official UOA because I didn't have a baseline sample of oil but the report came back pretty good. The above UOA is for 5000 miles mixed highway and city driving. Mobile One 5w20 full synthetic...

If you were to buy a new ram would you go gas or diesel

One thing to remember when deciding is how often you will be cold starting the truck. The viscosity of oil at subzero temperatures is very high and could cause some wear to the turbo charger. That being said if you can plug in the engine block heater, park in a heated garage, or if you live in...

    Synthetic Oil

Both RP and Penzoil are, as far as I have found, perfectly good oils. It was found that some Penzoil blends were paraffin based once upon a time. However, Penzoil is now owned by Shell and current blends such as the full-synthetic platinum are not paraffin based. My recommendation is to use...

    K's in Miles

My dad has two 250k+ Cummins trucks. Both trucks are pretty well beaten farm trucks but still run real strong. I own a VW Jetta TDI with 306K if that counts for anything

    Diablo sucks it...

Earlier today I went on Moe's performance to check out a few things and… well I am sure you know how it goes… before I know it I have six thousand dollars worth of parts in my cart! Guess I might need to get a job soon lol

    Diablo sucks it...

Shifting is probably the biggest frustration with the truck. Tranny has absolutely no urgency when it comes to down shifting.

    Diablo sucks it...

This is quite the thread! Took 3 days to catch up haha I am quite surprised in the range of opinions of HF tuning. Makes me leery of going this route. I see most of you guys have 2012+ but I was wondering how the 2010's responded to the HF tune. Also how does a tuner affect the warranty of the...

    Flip down rear seats done!

I had to remove the 8 bolts that hold the seat in place. These are the same 8 bolts some people add spacers under. I cut off about 5/8" cut right under the plastic sleeve as shown in the picture above. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Flip down rear seats done!

I went the slightly less popular route of cutting the tabs back. Being 6'6" I did not want to give up even a hair of head room, not that I sit back there but it's the principle.. Anyway it has been confirmed a cased shotgun will fit back there easily with room for tons of ammo! Sent from my...

Wheathertech fit perfectly as expected. As for the color they are slightly darker than anticipated but I think they look great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone have the part number for the royal purple filter for a 2010? Also did they change filter sizes in 2013?

    Flip down rear seats done!

This is awesome!! I am going to do this for sure. Might even fabricate some kind of shotgun/rifle rack for back there

    WheatherTech colors

I want to get some weathertechs for my 2010 laramie with tan/beige interior but am having a hard time picking a color. I was hoping someone could give some input or share some pictures. Thanks in advance!

need recommendations for small welder for garage

I would recommend a Lincoln or Miller. They are both well built machines and parts such as tips can be easily found. The Hobart mentioned above may also be a good choice but I have no experience with them. Good luck welding exhaust! Definitely not the most pleasant job.
