    Time to change the plenum gasket

    Alright so I know there is a sticky on this. But how hard is it to actually do. I'll be doing the hughs engine kit. I've been reading a lot about it and it doesn't seem to bad. Was just going to take my time and start early. Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

    Loud sucking noise when I start my truck.

    Possible plenum failure or something different.

    Alright so I'll get right in to it. I have a 1999 Dodge ram 1500 with a magnum v8 5.9 When I start the truck it has a loud sucking sound. Almost like a vacuum leak but I have zero symptoms of a leak. I did just put in a k&n air filter so Idk if that's what I'm hearing. Truck idles at about...
