you will thank yourself everytime you drive your truck that you wen that way. Flowmasters may sound cool for the first week, but then you hate it. You did it right the first time. Nothing wrong with that muffler, it will flow and sound good.....- Stegs

Flowmaster Upgrade on 1st gen Ram 1500
not hard, cut the original muffler out, replace it with new. Measure case of the original and get a new one close to that size you will need some exhaust clamps unless you can weld. I would strongly suggest you get something better than a flowmaster muffler tho. They flow like crap, sound...- Stegs

flowmaster, come on son.....you can do better than that if your looking for power, flowmaster wont give it to you. Only thing you will gain in a very loud, annoying truck that make a whopping 0hp more than stock Flowmasters dont really "flow" What you meant to say is replace the stock...- Stegs

i removed mine due to it sounded like a bunch of marbles inside of it Replaced with a magnaflow high flow cat (direct fit with downpipes) and new o2 sensors No more rattle, made my truck a little louder, but i fixed that with a brand new magnaflow muffler! i ran auto lite 3923 plugs for a long time. No complaints. I was told to get them because of my sct tuner They were good plugs. Didnt last very long tho..i replaced them with comparable NGK plugs. Flowmaster DIY question
Glad everyone share my same opinion on flowmaster.... I agree, they do sound nice at idle or low rpms, however once you start driving they sound terrible, extremely loud inside and out Dynomax is a great muffler, i personally like magnaflow products myself. I think its pretty safe...- Stegs

I get a random p0331 code every now and then. I clear it with my sct tuner and it will be off for a few months, then i pops up. Code reads as a knock sensor, however truck doesnt knock or ping at all. Any idea from you guys what i should look for? its so random that i dont worry about it...- Stegs
