    I ended up putting in an alpine ine-w960 and love it. I couldn't justify the $2800+ price tag for the set up. Mine has built in navigation, Bluetooth, etc. got the radio for $450 then the back up camera was another $100, wiring harness was another $50-$60 so im in it fairly cheap

    Back up camera problem

    The reverse wire on the h/u isn't hooked up right now. I never took it back out to see what to do with it. I think I'm going to try running the camera hot and ground to other sources. I would imagine if I did that I could just turn the camera on on the deck and it would work while driving

    It's possible it doesn't because of the canbus system for the lights which I'm assuming the reverse lights would be part of that system also. I'm thinking of getting the actual alpine camera for it now that I've read reviews on this one. Impulse buy is why I Have it

    No modules I know of? It was just ran to the reverse bulb harness on the passenger side for ground and hot. The video cable was ran to the camera plug on the radio. Maybe I need to put it to the aux spot?

    I tapped the 12v into the harness for the reverse bulb. Might not be the right spot. Exactly what you said is what's happening. Now I didn't run the reverse wire to anything off the radio. Assuming that needs to be hooked up to something right?

    I have an alpine ine-w960 h/u and a XO Vision back up camera. When the truck is not running and in reverse and turn the camera on it works. As soon as I start the truck it turns off when in reverse, I tapped the wires for the camera into the reverse light on the passenger side reverse light...

    I did it just like belltech says to do, pretty sure it said to cut the fronts, I remember cutting one set of them

    I don't have a factory back up camera but I do have a license plate mounted one I just didn't install yet. I did read about using that same harness with the oem camera. Seems they had it pretty well covered

    I think I'll honestly end up with hid's as they do cost less and I can put up with swapping ballasts every few years or so

    Ok thanks had no clue about that lol Also the harness I used was a XSVI-6523-NAV for anyone looking. Works perfect. I didn't plug in the rca's on it to try and use the aux plug so not sure if that works or not

    2/4 belltech drop ride is starting to suck

    I noticed earlier today that mine is sitting on the front bump stops, didnt realize it has settled that much. Guess next on my mod list is some better shocks. Im assuming putting good shocks on will fix it to not ride on the bump stops right?

    I ordered a new radio today to finish off the sound for now. Still could use an amp to power the door and dash speakers but this will do for now

    Thanks what you posted is what I ordered. Everything is set how I like and if it comes down to it me needing to change something then I'll plug the oem radio back in no big deal

    Which harness do i need for this to work properly? I can not find one anywhere that is a definite answer as to if it will work or not. I found answers for the 3.0 but nothing for the 5.0 which is what I have. Thanks!
