    4.7 Head bolt torque

    I know there are probably a few posts on this topic and I have looked at a couple. I know you torque them to 15 then to 35 then add 90 degrees. Can someone tell me what that 90 degrees actually comes out to? It is really hard to get and exact 90 with the engine in the truck haha.

    New Heads

    So my new heads didnt come set for timing. I assume that I should change this before I put them on the block?? Are valve clearances so low that I will bend valves if I have them on the block already?

    Engine Swap

    First the back story (2003 1500 with 4.7 vin N). Started having issues with coolant disappearing with no leaks evident on the ground. Started cheap and replaced the radiator cap, this seemed to fix the issue for a while. Then the engine started missing, had the codes checked and showed misfire...

    Coolant Disapears

    I keep adding coolant to my reservoir about a gallon a week. I checked the heater core and it is not leaking. Also not getting a lot of condensation out of exhaust. Any ideas? 2003 Ram 1500 with 4.7 engine.
