:jawdrop: My face when seeing those switchbacks! I remember in an email when you said you were working on them. Holy shit though. They turned out phenomenal. Now you mention sequential turns? Are you going to go with a microcontroller on this? There is an awesome thread over at HIDPlanet...
It's a ticket to a good time. Commonly delivered orally.
But really, LSD in auto terms stands for limited-slip differential. Lay two tracks of rubber rather than just one.
Out of the choices on your list: #3
Reasons: Not #1 unfortunately since your warranty (granted the install of LSD is warranted).
Not #2 Wheels look good for now. I think they would look good black, maybe with some plastidip to see if you like it then you can spring for something more...
The concept looks pretty cool. Could let something longer than the closed bed sit on one side while the other is up and locked keeping stuff from sliding out but I dunno. I'm not really sold. In 2015 they should just add something like the tailgate assist as a standard feature. Let's not get too...
Chrysler is owned by Fiat. So it was just a matter of time. I'd trust that motor. But I didn't really know anything about it until after I bought my 5.7 hemi.
I like those switchbacks. Probably going to have to pull the trigger on those. I tried installing some from superbright leds but never got them to work. Any issues installing? And if its not that too much to ask could you post a video of the switchbacks during the daytime.
I dunno if this will help anyone else but when removing the gril place a thin cloth right under the grill so you don't scratch the bumper when pulling it out. And as far as the pins on the side go make sure you aren't pulling from the top but rather one side at a time to disengage the pins, and...
I would be concerned about light output during the day. They just don't seem they would be bright enough for a true DRL that is noticeable. If you get them definitely post some pics of it in noon time sun please!
I honestly don't think it would be too hard. If I had a set of the sports for my truck I'd by some cheap quads to put in while I did it. I think I could do it in a couple weekends. I've been wanting to do something like that for a while just don't have the cash.
If you DIY a retrofit it is cheaper and better. But requires time and know how. It can definitely be done by most people but it's not an easy project if it's your first time.
Unless I'm missing something how are new headlights going to fix his third brake light issue? Wrong link? I'd like to see this brake light you're talking about. Been looking for a replacement myself.
Not on my ram but I owned a 2009 camry that I put SpyderAuto projectors on and they were shit. The consensus around here is the same. Dont waste your money.
I have a metal spudger that I used. But anything that is really thin and won't bend too much. Before you pop the cover off make sure the light has not been clicked on. If you click the light on then pull the cover off, when you go to put the cover back on the button will be displaced. This is a...
For the interior lights I didn't use canbus and got full functionality. They dim and people comment on how awesome they are when they climb in at night. Several people even said something when the door opened during the day time.
For the map lights I got...
http://www.ramforum.com/f41/laramie_grill_swap-57686/ This dude has a PW with the laramie grill insert you're looking for. He's wanting your style but painted red. Maybe yall can work something out.
There is a guy wanting your grill insert who has the lone star grill (horizontal slats) they are chrome but should be easier to pain those than trying to buy a painted insert already. http://www.ramforum.com/f41/grill_insert_swap-57716/
