After a fresh detail with my fender flares finally removed. Currently a 2/4 drop but Inez 4/6 drop will be installed in around a month but finally getting to where I'm happy with it.
Figured I would throw another on here with the new wheels and tires.. I'll be going 3/5 and flare removal this spring when the weather clears up a bit.
Thanks man. That's where I'm at as well. I'll be removing them once this weather warms up and if they've created any scratches i'll lightly wet sand the areas and use a cutting compound afterwards.
Yeah the two tone isn't my favorite either but I think once i remove my flares it'll break it up a bit and make it look better. color matching the bottom section would be ideal but I'm worried about the paint line it would create. The tires are actually 285/50/20 UHP's but I love em'. I can get...
I'm quite stuck here on the look of my truck. I just recently installed some new 20" oem express wheels with general grabber UHP's. Now I'm interested what you all think of it lowered with flares? I'm unsure on removing them or keeping them.. and I'm going slightly lower as well. Let me know...
So I have a two tone (red-gray) TRX 1500 and I'm looking into removing the factory flares. I haven't come across much information regarding if anyone after removing them came across any paint defects or deep scratching which couldn't be removed. Has anyone done this?
It's not so much the ease of just going and trading it in as much as I would just like to tackle said swap. More of something to do. Obviously then a write up can be done etc.. But also if clearly documented it would make it much more cost effective for anyone else to go out and do. I've seen a...
Now before anyone mentions searching please realize I have rather extensively. It seems many 3rd gen ram owners have tried this but nobody in the 4th gen community has. The few threads on various forums I've come across raise more questions than answers. Has anyone found a good write to this or...
I know! All because I brought that trailer up with me. But no problem! I'm debating starting a hauling while lowered thread. Just lowered rigs doing there thing. It would really provide some good info for anyone new to towing and lowered or to showboat haha
After speaking with Moes Performance I decided I'd rather spend the 2 hours to atleast revert the rear back to the stock set-up to tow the vehicle home. In the next few weeks i'll be picking up some helper bags so this doesn't have to be done again though. I was on the New Jersey Turnpike and...
Yeah it will be with a uhaul trailer actually. I have the access to a enclosed trailer but really don't wan't to use it until i have helper bags so i still the uhaul being my best bet. Hopefully someone else who has tried this can chime in.. But thanks man! Any input is appreciated!
My problem is I work until Saturday evening leaving me no time to install the bags. Purchasing them is no problem. I'm just seeing if anyone has towed a decent bit with the drop without bags.
I wasn't entirely sure if this should be in lowered or towing but I figured the lowered guys would know. My truck like stated is on the McGaughys 2/4 eco kit and I will be towing a 2800lb car this weekend. Its a deal I couldnt pass up and woudlnt be able to order the helper bags and have them...
