    RES Alpine?

    probably, my '12 came with an REF (even lower than the RES) with the Alpine system... updated to the RHB and never looked back! HTH Richard Edit... I don't not know if there was a problem with the REF unit but the sound difference with the RHB is amazing.

    Looks like the rubber seal out of the valve cap is stuck into the stem, try using a pick to pop out the oring.

    Great idea, you could try an H-3 bulb as the positive wire is positioned 90* to the bulb.

    Mine broke on the test drive... made a hell of a noise. They replaced them both monroe drop in units and all is good!

    Those will do the job just fine... There are also those that cut a coil and a half off the top of the factory rears and get the same effect! HTH Richard

    auto start.

    This^ I did this the other day and it takes less than 10 minutes to install, I spent more time reading the instructions than I did installing it!
