    That's usually the only strategy to make them reconsider trying to charge you for it. But if the truck is popular enough and there are few enough other dealers around, they may be stubborn, figuring that someone else will buy it.

    Look at the EVIC while you actually have the key in the START position too. That's when it'll flash "Incorrect key" if it's going to.

    Maintenance, especially from the dealer, is way more on the EcoDiesel. I don't think it'll win any sort of "cost vs cost" comparison.
