I drive 90% stop and go traffic and most of the time in the winter the truck barely gets fully warmed up before i make it to work. I only drive 4-5k miles a year. What would be better in my case? Something like Pennzoil PP 5w-30 and change it annually or Redline 5w-30 and change it annually...
Thanks everyone. I did turn off the MDS today and the "problem" is gone. That MDS really makes the truck feel like its stuck in to high of a gear for to long. Almost rather it not be there. I dont recall having this feeling in my 2015 Big Horn.
I bough a new 2018 Ram 1500 a few months back and have started to notice that when i am driving slow the transmission takes forever to figure out that it needs to shift to a lower gear which causes a bit of vibration. Is this something that is common with these trucks or do i need to get it...
I think it looks outstanding. I personally would keep the RAM logo and paint them as well. I think I am in the minority on this forum about liking the badges on.
I might do that to mine one day. Though I have the Big Horn so the chrome bumpers might not look right with it.
I would highly recommend not buying these headlights either. I have only had them for a couple months and already one bulb has blown and the LED lights on the other unit has quit working. Plus the plastic housing that bolts to the truck broke on both headlights on installation.
Anyone have any suggestions/experience in increasing the signal strength of FM radio stations? Ebay has some cheap radio antenna signal boosters. Anyone ever try these? My wife can pick up a certain radio station and I can pick it up under perfect conditions. But most of the time it has static...
I am not the smartest person when it comes to electrical stuff. But if I put in a resistor on the high and low beam cables will it stop the glow? If I unplug those two cables the halos work like they are suppose to.
Thanks for the quick reply. Wish I would have looked more into this before I bought the lights. Id rather not buy another set if I cant figure anything out ill just leave the halos disconnected.
Did you ever figure this out? I have the exact same problem. I bought the Spec-d halo headlights. With my lights off I have a glow on the halos. Everything else on the lights work the way they should......its just the glow when the lights are off.
