2014 sport 8speed cold temp tranny whine
Just a final update to the cold start whine, it turned out to be a noisy oil pump. The dealer replaced it and all the cold start noises dissapeared.- redblack

Hmmm, well I didn't think that this would be normal. The tech even walked the lot and started a few other 8speeds and none of them made the noise. Mine would do it all the time even in the fall in the mornings so it was not happening on only really cold mornings, it would go away after 5-10...- redblack

Hid Issues....?
Oddly enough, my canadian ram did not like the harness at all. 1st attempt - drivers side would not fire 50 percent of the time, always got a lamp out alarm. double checked the grounds and ohmed the resistors and capacitor, everything checked out. 2nd attempt - I flipped the capacitor... -

Preventing Dealer Damages?
I have a removable dash cam and will record while i walk around the truck with the service advisor when they book me in. I then put the camera back on the windshield and can see how the truck is treated during the service and road test. So far no issues- redblack

not getting 4x4 regrets?
My first truck was a 2wd... well one wheel drive actually because it had an open diff and would get stuck all the time. Living in a hilly community with canadian winters i needed a 4x4 so it was promptly traded in for a 14 sport 4x4 with anti-spin rear end.- redblack
