I have a '12 that I bought last year with 48k miles on it. It now has about 65k miles on it. The previous owner was an older rancher from SD that took impeccable care of it. All or most service and repairs at his local dealership. I've done the same but I haven't had all work done at the...
Yup, looks great. I too bought a 2wd a few years back but determined a couple years later I HAD to have a 4wd. Getting a cabin in the mountains changed everything.
Enjoy your new truck.
I worry more about my truck parked in my driveway than I do leaving it locked while doing outdoors activities......BUT,..... I'm sure that has more to do with what part of the country you live in.
I've never understood why they went to this shifter. I'm a member of a Mopar club and most of the members have older Mopars as well as newer cars and trucks. This shifter has been the source of discussion a couple of times among the members. Nobody seems to understand why they went to that...
"Wind noise", "Road chatter".......Its always been my impression with Ford especially anything built since the 1990's that the fit and finish was really lacking. I remember taking a new mustang for a test drive in 2010. This was before I bought my 1st Challenger and I was test driving Mustangs...
The state of NM doesn' require front plates but my 2012 Ram truck already had holes drilled so I decided to go a ard and mount a plate there to cover up the holes. Got this at a local specialty store
Thanks....I'm enjoying making it mine.
Ya I think the 8 speed came out in either 2014 or 2015 on the trucks and thats also when they went to the knob shifter. I'm a member of a local Mopar club and several of the guys have Ram trucks as well as a Charger, Challenger, or some other oldschool...
I'm guessing you are right. There doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason for the center console shifter. I'm thinking you can order it on any model. My Sport has a good number of special order items.
BTW I've always like that Detonator yellow. That color came out in 2010 on the Dodge...
Thanks I'm liking those seat covers too. Just need to break them in a bit more.
I'm not sure what year your truck is, but from what I've seen most 4th Gen. Ram trucks through 2013 that I've seen have the shifter on the column. My previous 2011 had a column shifter. And most from 2014 through...
Well I live in central NM....Albuquerque. But we have a cabin in the Jemez Mtns near Cuba NM. Its a bit west and south of Red River. Much more wilderness and not so much of a tourist area like around Taos/RR..............:driver:
I'm not sure if only the sport model comes with the shifter on the center console? My truck is the only one I've seen with the shifter like this. Its taken a little getting used to but it feels a lot like my Challenger now that I've had the truck for awhile. Also I've added a couple of...
Thanks...... but actually not near that much invested in my Challenger. All told less than $43K. I bought the 2011 SRT8 Challenger with low mileage used in 2013 and traded a 2009 RT. My bottom line on the 2011 ended up being $27500. I've put just over $15k into the 2011 SRT and a lot of that is...
I have a 2011 SRT8 but I swapped the hood out for a TA type and made it functional. I had an RT before that and bought the functional ones for it. Not sure it did much good. A buddy of mine did exactly what GIjoe2010 suggested. Drilled them out......Seemed like a lot of work for little or no...
I had the Weather Tech ones on my 2011 but decided to go with the Huskys on my 2012. The Huskys just stick out a little more and enough to deflect most of the rocks. The quality of the 2 brands are about the same but the Husky are just a bit wider where they need to be. Oh and I have them for...
"The Mean Green Machine is a beast. 692 hp at 10 lbs of boost. I want to get her to a track with decent conditions and lower elevation/DA. I've run her here in Albuquerque but we have the worst track conditions in the country.....high elevation and hot and dry weather. Either way the car is a...
I recently took a few pics of my new Ram truck with my 2011 Green with Envy colored SRT 8 supercharged Challenger. I have installed a new fuel door and my truck tool box. I also just got some new Husky mud flaps but haven' t had time to install them. I got them for the same reason I upgraded to...
LOL.....no the color of the truck on the OP is deep cherry red..... I had asked about what color of truck another per person who posted and he answered blue streak pearl . It' all good
I bought Weathertech for my previous Ram truck and they were alright. My new/current Ram truck came with the HuskyLiners. The only advantage I see with the Weathertech was that they do a better job of containing snow/water. I personally like the Huskyliners better though. They are more flexible...
