1500 Toy Hauler...2500 Purchase

Bought my wife a 2019 EcoDiesel - Reliable?
So with the economy in shambles, I took advantage of it and bought my wife a new 2019 Classic Laramie 4x2 EcoDiesel crew cab. Toy Hauler for 1500
I have a 2019 Bighorn Crew, 6.3ft Bed (153" wheel base) Hemi 4x4 with 3.92 gears and the tow package. According to the ram website, my tow rating is 11,240 and payload is 1,780. How Can I tell if I have an 8 Speed?
I crawled under the truck and saw I have 3.92 gears when I thought I had 3.55. Its a 2014 5.7l 4x4. When I use the manual shift on the steering column it only lets me select 6 speeds but when I'm driving normally and not flooring it, it appears to have more speeds. Good rubber for 20" wheels?
