I use to take mine to the dealer and just let them know they can't reprogram and always honoured my warranty for drive like issues never did have motor issues
I have 37's but I also have the 8spd and honestly could tell a slight difference but nothing that would make me remotely regret it and I'm stock tuner on the way

I've had a BDS kit and now I have a Fabtech lift and honestly I can't tell the diff. Both ride awesome and from what I can all welds and pieces are top notch.
Other than looks I agree 35's are better unless you have enough clearance for them at full flex(which most don't), I have 37's and love them but my truck is also a pavement princess
