    that is about the silliest thing I have ever seen. there IS such a thing as over-engineering something. its a tailgate. its already a work surface, you can slide a cooler across it, and you can prop items on it.

    I have the tow mirrors on my 17 I didn't have them on my 15 I don't think they are a must have for a small trailer.     SO Glad I didn't wait. there is nothing in the new truck that makes me feel like I missed out I got nearly 20 grand off my 17 and finally optioned it exactly how I wanted ( I always compromised somewhere before) These new trucks are beautiful don't get me wrong but im happy with my new one.

    Adding heater pads to cloth seats?

    I use NYLON (Not the cheap plastic)zip ties instead of the hog rings for reinstall. Have on my last 3 trucks. no issues. I use the Rostra Brand personally but they all will do the job.
