    I recently installed a safe in my console that fits a full size 45. The safe: Fort Knox FTK-AUTO. Measurement inside: 8 1/2 x 4 x 4 3/4. Price: less than $200. The safe has 4 predrilled holes in bottom so you can bolt it down. It is perfect size for our truck's console.
