Tire pressure
I do have the tire pressure screen and have been checking it constantly on cold mornings. I upped the cold pressures to 66 front 64 rear and like the way it rides better than 62/60. After some highway driving they show 71/69. I guess TPIS it is.- RoadDog66

Tire pressure
I've had two 2017 3500s. My previous one the low pressure light world come on for the rears the second it dropped below 65 psi. My current 3500 the pressure has been as low as 58 psi and no light. Any idea why?- RoadDog66

One word...payload. And the 3.42 still pulls like a freight train. A 4.10 in the diesel would be a monster but hamper mileage and your wallet at the same time because the Aisin is definitely needed for it. That's another $2600. This was my experience with 6.4 and 3.73s. I'd pull out from dead stop on a slight grade and first gear would wind up to 30mph pretty well but then drop to 2nd and would never regain any momentum or acceleration. Buying Tires This Week - Looking for advice/ Testimonials

Maintenance Pkg
Thanks. It's an FCA service pkg that covers 5 years/60K miles worth of services. The service dealer I use printed out a schedule that started at 7500 miles. I just didn't want charged for an early service if I take it in now at 7500 miles.- RoadDog66

Very true they all have issues. I've had a couple of minor ones that I fixed myself and one at that dealer (but could have fixed myself). Most issues are gonna be with the Lippert (LCI) junk or the appliances which are all covered under the individual 90-day or 1-yr manufacturer warranties...- RoadDog66

B&W Hitches are the way to go. Airbags are very helpful too. The CTD can pull just about anything. Just be mindful that the manufacturer listed pin weight for 5th wheels are very, very optimistic. Don't shy away from the 3500's as a daily driver. I went from a 2500 to a 3500 and the ride difference is negligible, unless of course you regularly drive on fire roads or live in pothole city. MTOfell & BossHog are spot on with their insight on RVs. I had the B&W Companion slider on my 2500. Great hitch. Didn't really need the slider but went that way for peace of mind. Go to the Keystone forum and read as much as you can about their products. I personally will never by another Thor product (parent company to Keystone & others). We bought a Grand Design Reflection 30BH. It's 9250 dry with pin around 2K (dry says 1710...never believe any listed dry weights). Are you certain you have 3.73 gears with your CTD? I'm pretty sure we can only get the 3.42 gears unless you have the Aisin trans, a dually or a chassis cab. Also do you have a 2500 or 3500?
