    Finally Had my Brake controller flashed with the update, It made a world of difference, just completed a 3000 mile road trip with my 5th wheel, very happy with the way the brakes now work, with that being said my P3 is still mounted in the truck and ready to be plugged back in just in case! lol

    I was at my RV dealership Friday and he told me that the brake controller problem is very common complaint they are getting and they have found that its the connector on the harness at t he back of the truck that connects to the harness for the trailer plug(s) not making good contact

    I went that route but my dealer wrote down they recommend a after market controller, Ram customer care was very good, but wish they would have a fix for the factory one so i could use it instead

    For now i have the aftermarket one which works good, hopefully Ram will do something about their controller!

    UPDATE Just heard From Ram customer care, they are giving me a 5 year paint and interior warranty for scratches, dents, rips and tears, AND a 7 year Tire and Wheel warranty with towing and trip interruption!

    yes you unplug the harness from the factory module, then they told me it will flash a code and get a check engine light and to bring it by the dealer and they would delete the sales code for the factory controller and that will remove the code and shut off check engine light

    I have a 3:73 axle and ave around 17-18 in town i tow 14,000 lb like a champ! I would go with the 3:73

    2015 Solitude 5th wheel 6000 lb axles, cant adjust gain correctly and bad braking at lower speeds, 2015 Ram 3500 oh the camper i traded was a 2014 model and only weighed 7000 braking was horrible with this truck
