I am currently trying to convince the dealer it is their truck and not my KO2s. The stock tires were on when it started. Then a new set of BFG. The dealer swapped those tires for a set off of a truck on their lot. They said it took “most of the vibration away doing that”. So I got BFG to give me...
Did you ever get this fixed? I have a 2015 that started doing this too? Same thing. The dealer blames the tires. BFG replaced a set for me. So now it’s 3 sets of tires doing the same shake. I think it’s the truck.

This is the fix if it is doing what mine was doing. Does it drop when the door locks automatically lock shortly after starting to drive? If you want to check, start the vehicle and hit your door lock/unlock buttons on your door and watch the gate. It should drop after a few cycles when you are...
This stuff works good. It’s rubber so it doesn’t break down. I got the idea from a bunch of guys on here that had already done it with success.

Here’s a good video explaining why these locking gates are dropping for anybody that starts having this issue. https://youtu.be/UHa6WUvqTHg

That mileage is realistic. My 2015 with 3.21 gears gets in the 10s L/100 on the highway. I've averaged 9.6 a few trips if the wind is in my favour. In the city yes 13-14 L/100. I'm real happy with the mileage I get. And that's just a 6 speed.

Yes it's an easy fix bud. As soon as you tell them what it's doing, they'll know. Trust me. I hope the new parts they are putting in our gates are redesigned so this doesn't start happening in 2 more years off warranty.

You will likely need the tailgate locking module replaced inside the gate. It will likely do it again at some point. Mine started off like that. A couple times in one day then nothing for weeks. Then it gets more frequent.

I used Phillips 921 in the reverse and cargo lights on my '15 1500. Had no issues. Any 921 led should work for those two applications.

Try starting the truck and then try the door lock/unlock trick. I didn't have to be driving the truck, but found I had to start the truck and then it would do it.

Lol. I do not work for super bright. Somebody else suggested them to me. It was a few bucks online and it will definitely fix your problem.

My '15 did the same thing after I swapped out the dome light for a cheap led. Somebody on here suggested trying a brighter led from super bright leds and that fixed the problem. The cheap bulb wasn't drawing enough and was messing with the interior lights somehow. Did you put in leds?
