My 2010 did that. I traded it, so I never found out the issue. I read on here something about a "clock spring" in the steering wheel. Not sure how correct they were. May check into that...?

It'll be definitely covered. Never seen that happen at that age or mileage. No worries though. Shit happens. Enjoy your truck!

I have a flowmaster super 40 on my 4.7. It sounds good on acceleration but the drone is pretty rough. I probably should of went with a magnaflow...

That's crazy! I just test drove a 2016 with the 6.4 the other day it sounded exactly like that. So I'm confused if that's considered normal.

I had an oil leak on my 4.7L that dropped in a similar location. Took it in ended up being a front crank seal. It was replaced under my extended warranty.

I'm interested in the 30 wt question myself. I may try it out on my next change.
Don't see a lot of the fourth gen 4.7L oil topics. Subscribed!

How many miles on your 4th gen, & what repairs, if any?

You have nothing constructive to add to the forum whatsoever. Why are you here, seriously? You apparently know everything, so there is no benefit for you to be here.
Not a good idea with a dpf equipped truck. I mixed two stroke oil in the fuel of my 6.0 powerstroke but it was a pre-dpf vehicle.

The first step would probably be a set of gears but that will cost a pretty penny on a 2012+ ram. This will help get more power to the ground. [emoji3]
Love to see the 4.7 get love! I'm in the same boat.
