Sport Hood on SLT do i need paint shop to blend?

You would either need to blend the fenders, or the painter needs to take a bunch of time tinting. You cannot just buy a gallon of paint in your code and expect it to match. Paint is all mixed, even what is sprayed from the factory. The same paint code on 2 trucks built 3 months apart can have...

    Bilstein or Fox Steering stablizer?

I didn't think Fox made a stabilizer for our trucks, as I didn't see it on the website when I looked. I put an Icon on my truck. It was the most expensive direct replacement one out there, so it must be better. I think that's how it works. ha!

    Those with amp power steps

Agreed. The install is time consuming. But it is straight forward. The riv-nut install tool thing they give you works fine. The Riv-Nuts themselves have a hex collar, and they fit into hex shaped holes. As long as they are seated against the metal, you cant really mess them up.

The more I read...the less I want to install leveling kit

Absolutely not. Tires did it. I ran stocks for 20kish before I went to 35's.

The more I read...the less I want to install leveling kit

Don't believe the hype. Spacers and shock brackets are fine. I've had that stuff on my truck for 50k miles.

    New exhaust

I thought I was the only cool guy on here with a Spintech. Sounds good. I have the Sporttruck 5000 on my rig. Ordered it with 3.5 in and 3.5 out, offset. Fit right in where the stock muffler was. I removed the resonator, and did a stick of 3.5 in there as well, so I still have the stock exit.

Rough Country or Bushwacker pocket fender flares?

Smittybilt. Cheaper and fit good. No issues.

    show me your steps

Not a fan of how they attach to the sheet metal, but they hold my 270lbs just fine.

Anyone running the K&N intake on the 6.4 ?

The lower portion of the airbox, yeah. It stays bolted in the truck. You only replace the top portion with the heat shield, filter, and the tube.

Anyone running the K&N intake on the 6.4 ?

I honestly don't pay attention to the MPG, as my company gives me a gas card. :) EVIC showed 9.5 on the way back, at 75mph with a trailer for 1500 miles, I'm good with that. But i'm sure 10 guys can chime in to say that the EVIC is BS. Thanks for the kind words on the truck.

Anyone running the K&N intake on the 6.4 ?

I've had mine on since early December. Easy install. Don't know about additional power but looks cool. Butt dyno says more power, but little if any. Makes some noise when hammering on the loud pedal, but I also have a Spintech Muffler without a resonator, so that's obviously not an issue with...
