Hey all need advice on a Sonnax Smart Tech Overdrive Clutch Housing Kit. My trans is being rebuilt as 4, 5 and 6 are all slipping. My guy feels it's the overdrive clutch parts causing the issues. Hey all, long time no visit... I am afraid my 2012 transmission is taking a dump. Everything was fine, we got an ice storm in Oregon and I used 4 low and 4 high numerous times over a few weeks. Tire pressure sensor went out? Best place to get new one...
Welp I suppose it's my turn to have one go out? Or maybe something came unhooked perhaps. Anyway yesterday after a healthy warm up we hit the road. AMP mud terrain MT review ?
Seems like AMP tires have yet to really catch on. The MT's obviously their first and more popular. I looked into their AT's briefly and the only buying option was at some mom & pop mechanic shop I was referred to when I called an AMP distributor here in northwest. Don't understand the hemi tick!
And there is a crowd that uses RP and swears that it is the best oil in keeping these Hemi's quiet. So one post is not a good sample to make such a statement. I have Mobil-1 5w-30 and what I feel is basic mechanical noise. Of course my truck is really loud exhaust so maybe it hides it?- jlpowell84

Lifter issue? Or just lifter noise? Mine sounds just like this and I assumed it was standard mechanical noise. And in general more pronounced with long tubes and the thinner walls of the 304 stainless tubes rather than the cast stock manifold w/heat shield. Also just had my first oil change...- jlpowell84

295/70/17 Tire pressure?
I run 305/60/R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers and have been vaguely wondering what I should have them at. Mine also are 50psi max, tire shop put them at 36psi (38-39 when hot and 34-35 when cold). Led C-bar taillight retrofit
Morimoto has some LED tubes I wanted to try for not much. I think pairs range from $30-$60 and they have a few different kinds, styles and lengths. I was told they are made a little cheaper than some of their nicer stuff but I would assume at least on par with the run of the mill ones.- jlpowell84

Which set of Longtubes? Poll
I had to add a Vibrant 3" in/out after Y-pipe before MBRP muffler. I freaking loved the extreme raspy mean V8 sound (not burbly like flowmaster) but at mild 2200rpm acceleration it was simply too loud. Res kinda kills the sound as all the high frequencies are neutered. I agree, cost...- jlpowell84
