Yes the cover doesn't affect the RamBoxes. The cover can be open, closed or anywhere in between and the RamBoxes can open fully.

Road trip. First extended ride in the Ram. Drove from NJ to RI (250 miles) and it handled great and was comfortable for the 5 hour drive.
Averaged 21 MPG on the way up with some slow moving traffic. Traffic in the Northeast seems to get worse every year.

I don't think it's the pipe that is bent, the rear bumper is pushed in on the passenger side. Hopefully it is mostly cosmetic damage, but I did notice the vertical tailgate gap on the passenger side is now narrower than the gap on the drivers side. So will have to see Monday when I go for the...
Check out the angle of the tailpipe vs the bumper. It should be straight out but the right side of the bumper is pushed in

I'd like to thank to other driver who wasn't paying attention to the traffic and drove right into the rear of my 1500. Sure I have nothing better to do than file insurance paperwork and send the 2 month old truck into the body shop.
Fortunately no one was hurt and parts can be...
Hauled the golf clubs
Loaded up the golf clubs and hauled them to the course for a tournament. I probably should have left them there the way I played today, but I ended up hauling them home. Hit enough to good shots to make me want to go back another day.
5W-20. Supposed to used it for the MDS to work properly, but the oil discussion will open up a can of worms. So I'm not touching that subject. My 2016 has 1,500 miles on it now and I will be switching out the PUP 5w-20 on next oil change.

The engine is assembled in Mexico and then shipped to Warren, Mi and from reading other posts the consensus is that factory fill is conventional Pennzoil.
One month old and 1,200 miles. No problems with the engine, but it needed a multifunction switch replaced a few days after I picked it up. Defective part from factory covered under warranty.
@PullYa: I know you use Wolfgang 3.0 and I recently put it on and was wondering what I need to do before applying a second coat of it in a few months. Do I have to strip off all the old wax first?
I figure I will do another coat in the fall to help protect it for the winter.
Thanks
Joe
I've been hand washing the truck at home using the foam cannon and pressure washer and have never taken this one through an automated car wash. This will be fine for the Spring, Summer and Fall, but I won't be able to do it in the winter once the temperature drops below zero. However, I still...
Well I took the truck out last night and ended up getting dead bugs all over the front, windshield and side view mirrors. I'm not sure if the Wolfgang had anything to do with the it or not but they wiped right off with a little a water and sponge. Now to wait until I get some shade to put on...
Since I'm waiting 24 hrs to put on the Wax, should I wet down the car and dry it off if it's gets dusty/pollen in it or would just a microfiber towel do the trick.

First time using Wolfgang 3.0 sealant. I'm not sure how good it looks in the photo but in person it looks very good and the microfiber towel slides over the paint now and feels like glass.
Tomorrow I will top coat it with Collinite 845 if I have time. Hopefully after doing this it will...
