    Amp and subs combo for your RAM?

    I have a Hifonics amp running my 4 door speakers. Think 70x4 but a great amp for the money. Keep them cool, smoked a sub amp of theirs. Was pushing it very hard at the time. I use a autotuba for sub so can't help on the box question.

    Stay with a 4ch and power the dash speakers with the HU like was said above. I tried powering my dash speakers with the amp, but they would SCREAM at me when volume was turned up. Much better balance with just the HU pushing them.

    Regular cab sub box?

    Take a look at Bill's designs. He makes a truck tuba that rocks with a single 8 or 10 depending on how you want to build the box. Horn loaded subs = low power, tight bass, and crazy output from a small sub. I have his auto tuba in my 14 quad cab with a 10 and it is crazy sound!!!

    Plan on just changing the HU out at a later date, not going to live with a getto system for very long. Lol. It is insane that someone would build a HU like this! They under estimate us cheap rednecks, where there is a few beers something going to get figured out somehow LOL!!

    Well here is the end of the ORDEAL and how I got passed it!! Pulled fuse and put back in and got back to just speaker sound, would not go thru Lc6 or amps. Went to ratshack and got some resistors and tried that. Did not help problem. Went to drink a beer and think about it for a while. Came back...

    Will try to post a link if I can find it, just got some stainless ones off eBay. 2014 ram easy install and wide tube (5 inches) only had them for a week but really like them. Gave a little over 300 for them.

    I have the same problem, I use mine a lot because I work out of my truck. It works great for days, then no connection? I have tried reconnecting on Bluetooth and everything else I could think of. It just works when it wants to.
