I really want a cam and heads just for the noise. Extra hp would be welcome. Those generals killed the truck though. I blame the 3.55s. Which is why I wanna go with 4.56 and get the gearing back down because 1 it'll be easier on the tranny as I add power and 2 because the taller tire feels like...- Rammitman

Tq is just something I saw on here. Really set on gears but ive heard tq helps. My truck is a toy, originally gonna turn it into a ramrunner but I can't find the parts now. So I need to find a pre 12 front diff.. where do I find that and what do I need? I emailed moe's about it but no...- Rammitman

I mostly do around town with some highway. Not terribly concerned with mpgs. I do pull a trailer a couple times a year on a 400 mile round trip, probably around 4-5000lbs. Tires now are general grabber 33s (never again) too heavy imo. Want to go 35-37 after these. My question is, I want to go...- Rammitman

Tried everything out just now. That diode from retroshop made the difference. Those lights are 10000x better now. Anybody who has any brightness issues with their lights, just head on over to retroshop and they will fix your problems. I am 110% satisfied now! -

Installed the diode today. I came down with strep throat (apparently I'm 10 years old) and just now got around to it. Luckily, the retrofit harness to connect my truck to the new projectors allowed the plugs to hang down just far enough that I could get to them from underneath the front. They... -

I'm thinking about going with the flowmaster 50 muffler replacement thing. Can't remember what they call it but you basically cut your muffler off and bolt this one on. I'd like to go full header back exhaust but there's only one muffler business here and they are 100% useless. I need a car...- Rammitman

Suggestions for air filter other than stock OEM?
I went with a k&n. Didn't notice any difference. Didn't really expect to either but I like being able to reuse it. I'm thinking about running a 3-4in pvc pipe from the little valence in the bottom of my bumper to the air box and blocking off the one that pulls from the fender. Ram air baybuh! I...- Rammitman

I agree. My lows are fine but I want to be able to put my highs on and see way out. My 03 had a set of Mickey mouse eBay projectors and they were like spotlights on high. I loved them -

I thought about doing that. I had turn take my grille off to get the lights out and the emblem looks easy to just pop right off. My truck is actually an st trim but it has sport bumpers and a few other options that aren't available on st trim. Somebody custom ordered it. I picked it up used 2... -

I am very interested in led's. If I can get my halogen situation sorted, I may go with led later. If I can't get it right using halogen then it's clear that I need the brightest lights available and, right now anyway, I feel like hid's are the brightest. IF you get a quality kit in the right... -

I took a look at mine and I believe my lows go off completely with the highs. I'm not sure how much light would get past the shutters but you'd think there would be some unless they go through the trouble of precision cut shutters with gaskets and etc. There is absolutely no light what so ever... -

I'm impressed with the guys at retro. I ordered my tycs and they were on their way to me that night. Their wire harness is as good or better quality than the truck harness. -

I am curious to see how they turn out. I'd love to have led's if they'll be bright enough. I'm just leery of the fans on them. No doubt though they'll be the light bulb of choice in a few years -

Hids it is then. Now the question is, which brand is the best? I've seen a lot about morimotos and retroshop has them I think, which is where I got my tyc's from -

Hid's in this light would be low beam only. My wife's citadel has the best lights I've ever seen. They're hid yes but again only on low. I just want more high beam! $700 for these and I could have just gotten a light bar and had 400x more light haha. And I'm still not sold on led head lights but... -

N-Fab front bumper
I like the nfab bumper but it just looks like something is missing. I can't put my finger on it. Don't get me wrong it looks great. The add bumper is my favorite but the price gave me a heart attack. I'd probably go with nfab but I'd want to see one in person first. -

I went from the dual stockers to a set of tyc projectors today. Non hid. I gotta say the low beams are great but the high beams still suck. What am I missing here? Highs were the main reason I changed lights.
