YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!
I finally got the locking clip to release and populated the 3 wires. It did not want to release but I finally figured it out.
I still have to get the truck coded at the dealer to see if everything is working. Sadly it will be weeks before I get a chance to go get it...
I keep trying to put them in but they won't lock. Is the red cover necessary to remove? Cause I can't seem to get it off and I don't wanna break it.
If they just slide in then I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for all the assistance and pictures!
Thanks everyone!
So I was about to remove the wrong pins, 31-33 have nothing in them but I was gonna take out the grey, blue and light blue/violet... so thanks to all of you I still haven't managed to ruin this radio. So thank you!
Sadly I don't own a small jewelry screw driver so I will...
First off, I really appreciate all the help. My plug does look slightly different then the one in the picture on Post 26. I will try again tomorrow to get those pins depopulated, I did not see any sort of locking pin to remove.
Thank you for the congratulations, we're staying busy taking...
Pretty much I attempted to strip a section of the insulation with a razor and cut too deep into the wire. After that I just cut it and was going to splice everything back together. My wife went into labor and while I was trying to put everything inside and leave for the hospital I must have...
Problem, After cutting the Orange and Dark Blue wire I've lost the connector some how. Any idea how I can remedy this issue?
What happens if I try to drive the vehicle without that connector hooked up?
Thanks in advance!
