Just bought my first Ram... now what?
When (not if) you replace the plenum gasket, also install that aluminum (aftermarket) plenum. The aluminum intake and sheet metal plenum bottom expand and contract at different rates / different temps, and it results in that gasket failure. 2001 5.2 2wd.... While replacing coolant after thermostat change I noticed clicking coming from a component behind passenger side head light. Bad news for you my CA neighbor.... That California truck has not one, not two, but three cats! You have one left and one right, and you have one before the muffler. You have to have it installed by a licensed tech and yes, it's expensive.- SaberSix
