I am not sure about the newer rams but my 2011 did not like the hid kit i put in. The drl didnt work but the low beams and head lights did work. Not sure if it was the kit or the truck but from the people ive talked to hids are not recommended in rams
I like the NV black and bronze. ME PERSONALLY id go with the goodyear duratracs but the next best thing to the duratrac would be the K02. Ive heard some horror stories withe the grabbers chopping and causing a vibration

I have a 2011 ram 1500 4x4 , the only issues i had with my truck is the stub shaft in the rf axle housing and a few other odds and ends. But when i went to get the part my dealer said 2012 and up supposidly you have to buy the WHOLE differential! Thats some serious $$$$ but your in the same...
If your 4x4 isnt working look into the stub shaft and the axle. I just replaced mine on the right front stub and axle shaft due. The stub shaft strips out in th axle causing no 4x4 and noises
I am an apprentice auto technician, all i have to really worry about is parts. And your right i live in the atlantic part of canada where we have a snow storm every other week. And my drive way is app 100 feet long so you can imagine how long it takes to shovel :p
The plow weights lets say app 400lbs. Burla i do have 17" winter tires on right now, 265/70/17 LT and 275/65/20 for my allseasons.
