    I have a 97 V10 and a 99 5.9. Are the bellhousing patterens the same. I want to swap the trans from the 5.9 into the V10. Not so worried about driveability so long as it moves. Just a farm truck, never leaves the place.

    Contact your dealer and purchase a vacuum reservoir. It is slightly larger than a film canister and goes inline of the vac hose into the dash. It will greatly reduce or stop the switch to the defrost. There used to be a tech bulletin about this for the mini vans.

    HVAC question

    Building a couple wrecked pickups into one. Building an 01 body with a 96 parts truck. I've found the heater and a/c cores are the same. I am wondering if anyone knows if can I pull the entire hvac box from the 96 and put in the 01? Trying to do this low buck so my kid has a 4x4 this winter.
