CEL and Limited engine output
update* turns out the temp sensor plug itself was bad. fixed that and resolved that issue. Gauge works perfect and no CEL light. Issue was a clogged cat. I pulled the front o2 sensor and it ran much better since it can release that pressure build up. haven't got the time yet to fix it...- SnowGlobes83

cranking but doesn't start
I had the same issue here just last week on my 2002 5.9L. replaced my water pump and changed out the spark plugs and wiring. I replaced them one at a time to make sure it wasn't out of firing order. So recently I had to do a little bit of work on my truck. 2002 Ram 1500 5.9L. Original issue was there was a leak that appeared like it was coming from the water pump. ended up being the bypass hose. hose had a pin size hole.
