    Could this sound be exhaust manifold.

    Tug on the heat shields to see if they’re loose. In 3 years/65k miles I’ve had manifold bolts replaced twice and a new long block from Hemi tick once. The point besides **** fca is it could be minor or you could eat a lifter, check it out before continuing to drive it.

    Thanks but luckily i purchased the extended warranty. I’m just done with the 5.7, it’s astonishing that this is a known problem and fca just keeps producing the shit. I have been debating getting either a rebel TRX or a Cummins this year and don’t know if i can even buy another ram.

    My 17’ is at the dealership getting a new long block as we speak from eating the cam. 66k miles, used free oil changes up until 20k miles and recdline since. Anybody want to buy a 4x4 Laramie with a new engine?!?!

    Damn i guess i skipped that part huh, went in for hemi tick and i told the advisor it sounds like it ate the cam. Sure enough they called this morning, cam is gone and need a new long block. After it started ticking i limped it 3 miles home and 10 miles to the dealership. I think they use penzoil

    My 2017 is sitting at the dealership right now waiting for FCA’s 3rd party warranty company to come “inspect” it. 65k miles and always used redline 5w20/wix xp filter after the 4 free oil changes by the dealership.

    I would remove it and drive it for a couple weeks and then go from there. I once had an edge product on a Cummins ,it started doing weird electrical things and fried my ecm. Edge bought me a new ecm, it fried that one too and then they switched out there downloader programmer for a juice with...
