    Pine squirrels chewed through a wire that activates an injector. Check the air box, that was the nest site. Consider adding hardware cloth.

    About a year ago there was a post with photos comparing the brakes of a 1500 and a 2500. That alone should provide the answer. Brakes on my 1500 not much different from the wife's minivan.

    Two points, - remove battery blanket if you live in warm climate, heat is battery's enemy. - pine squirrel warmed up on my engine and chewed through an injector wire, now I keep a small pail of mothballs under the truck

    They are indestructible but retain dirt due to textured surface. In my case sand (Florida) and dry wall debris.

    School me on ceramic coating

    My ceramic cost about 1,500 in metro-Detroit. Got it before any swirls or scratches. I hand was or use only touchless car wash (very high pressure wash), others (brush or felt) will ultimately scratch it. One year and 10,000 miles later it looks showroom new. Would do it again.

    What floor liners for great protection in front seat area? Seat covers for truck too?

    I have Weathertech mats and Seat Saver canvas seat covers, front and back. This is a work truck and so far all interiors are undamaged.

    Cruise control inoperable

    I also have this issue and by pushing the up gear button then engaging cruise control it works. After that it will work consistently turning it on and off. Makes me think it won't work unless the trans is in a higher gear than is typical at 40 mph.
