    No you definitely won’t recoup money, especially where you are. That’s a big difference in price. I guess what I was trying to point out was at least here in VA putting 89 in is not much more expensive in the long run as one might think. I may have done a poor job at it.

    I have run a few tanks of 87 in the truck and cannot break 19mpg in my 17. I was running 89 “as recommended” and getting 19. I don’t care about mileage that much but if you are trying to squeak out more miles 89 might be the way to go. On a 20gal fill up its $6 more.

    I’m gonna run PUP 5/30 in mine when it comes in vs the 5/20 I was running. Delivery date was June 5th and I can’t wait that long. It was on Amazon for 25, and the other 2qts were 16. Then a RP filter was also 15. So a little less then $60 for all synthetic oil and a good filter is worth it...

    Think I can run RL 8000mi? I usually do 7000 for the PUP. At least to me the extra 1000mi would make it a bit more worth the extra cost.

    That’s what I meant. No issues with the MDS running 30 weight? Although I usually turn it off unless I’m on the highway.
