Buying a 3500. need opinions.
I found a VERY clean 04 ram 3500 4x4 cummins turbo diesel (5.9 i believe) its a single axle, long bed with "crew cab". the mileage is 180,000. the dealer wants 20,000 for it. No rust anywhere, interior is flawless. 1 owner and garage kept. My question is, is $20,000 too much for this? also...- 19Ram150098

Vent issue
So i looked under the dash and the yellow vacuum line goes from the control panel to the actuator looks good, if i move the actuator by hand it'll just stay on the vents. If i switch to defrost and back to vent it stays on defrost vents. Is it possible the actuator is losing suction?- 19Ram150098

98 ram 1500. 5.2L. My air/heat only blows from the defrost vents. I checked the outside vaccum hose that comes through the firewall and its good. My 98 ram 5.2L starts and runs fine (no missing) after about 10 to 20 minutes it shuts off like someone turned the key, even if i have it revved to 3,000. 5.9 bored .30 over?
When i bought my truck (98 ram 1500 5.9L) the owner said the engine was bored .30 over. Could anyone explain to me what exactly that means? Like does it have bigger pistons? and is it no longer a 360? i know its a stupid question, i was just curious- 19Ram150098

Changed AT fluid, now won't shift
what type of fluid did you use? also what method did you use to clear the codes, did u unhook the battery, or did u use a code scanner? also when you changed the filter, did u by any chance touch or knock loose any solenoids plugs or wires?- 19Ram150098

So i took it to a Danco transmission shop near me, they checked it out and said it was something in my Transfer Case.. So my question is.. would it make the grinding noise in park and still be the transfer case? I wouldnt think the transfer case would make noise not moving- 19Ram150098
