    mopar bed rails are totally different then the regular silver ones. if you have the black rails for a mopar cover you will need the regual oem silver rails

    Ya 3.55 sucks on 5/6 speeds cause the insanely long trans gearing. 8 speeds are so short that the diff gearing doesnt matter much. 3.55 with 8 speed is a pretty good combo

    the trick is finding a good trans for good price.. new they are like 3500. a few wreckers here had some under 40,000kms for 1500 bucks. the 8 speeds seem like very good durable trannys so i wouldnt be to concerned about one with a little bit of mileage on it

    yes. second hand wreckers trans here is running 1500. steering column i 200. the shifter switch is approx. 200 as well. about 3 grand could do it

    but only 4th gear and up are overdrive. 1st 2nd and 3rd are not. so the kickdown clutches in the first 3 gears should be good? i will start just manually shifting to a lower gear but the kickdown from 2nd to first gear or 3rd to 2nd gear are pretty nice.

    what difference will the TOW mode make for WOT downshifting? 6 speed is still the standard trans in the ram, the 8 speed is option at a higher cost.
