Can I leave the truck running and take the key into the store?

Yes it will. I do it all the time when I run into the gas station to get something to drink, etc...

    2021 Ram 2500 6.4 Average Gas Mileage

Whoever gets over 12MPG in the city with at least 35s, must live some flat land. Same goes for anyone getting 15mpg on the highway, either you are driving like Ms Daisy or are on very flat land. That or you are running stock tire sizes.

Do mirrors rotate to "tow mode" on 2019 2500?

Ha...sorry. I couldnt keep up with who speaking who. Figured I would just answer out right :)

Do mirrors rotate to "tow mode" on 2019 2500?

Mine are tow mirrors. Apparently I was being way to gingerly with them. I got them to flip up. While I dont tow much at all, I have to say I can see alot more with them up. Having the moose ear in a horizontal position makes it so much easier and gives a wider range. I might have to have...

Do mirrors rotate to "tow mode" on 2019 2500?

I have mirrors that have the split narrower mirror on the end, both of them are powered. But, I cant turn the mirror up

Do mirrors rotate to "tow mode" on 2019 2500?

So i have a 2500 Laramie CC with the moose ears, and apparently these are not tow mirrors. They do not turn up. Shockingly, not all 2500 come with tow mirrors.

No mud tire will ever be quiet. Once they break in...they will get loud compared to an AT.

    2500 6.4 Cold Start

Glad I found post, mine sounds the same. I thought maybe the 6.4's suffer from cracked header bolts like the 5.7s do. This is my first 2500, just still learning. Thinking about putting on an intake and exhaust for shits and giggles. Want to live'n up the noise of this engine a bit.

Tires - Need some help understanding load, etc..

So...load range ratings. Would an E1 be better than an E2 or vice versa? Doesn't the number of equivalent plies in the construction make one a better option that another?

Tires - Need some help understanding load, etc..

Well the load capacity of 17s falls right in line with the GAWR for the rear of the truck. So do I really need a tire that can handle more than what the truck is rated for?

Awesome. Thank you. Looks like I'm gonna not lose any.

Tires - Need some help understanding load, etc..

Only problem I have is this vehicle came with fuel 20s and aftermarket tires...not factory tires. So I'm not sure of what the initial design was. So I have to just go off of what is on my truck now.

Tires - Need some help understanding load, etc..

So going with a 121 loan rating may not decrease my Payload capacity, necessarily?

Tires - Need some help understanding load, etc..

Thank you. Learning rather quickly about load rating, etc... This helps dramatically. While I like the look of 17s, I might have to have 18s, because I dont really want to give up payload just in case. Looking at my current 20' Toyo Open Country A/T wheels they an E rating with an 80psi max...

This is why I was questioning pressure. I have always seen this lineup on tire manufacturers sites....

Tires - Need some help understanding load, etc..

So most e rated tired have a max fill psi of 55-65psi. How are you running 70psi? I presume you have larger diameter wheels that 17?

Tires - Need some help understanding load, etc..

Can you elaborate on the load rating a bit? Is it as simple as it reads? Aka, the 121 rating means the truck can only handle 3195lb in total payload?

Tires - Need some help understanding load, etc..

Hello all. I recently upgraded from my 4th gen 1500 or a 5th 2500 Laramie CC. I am looking at tossing the twentys that came on the truck, and order up a set of 17x9.5 with 35x12.5 rubber. But, I understand the HD trucks carry a different load rating with their tires. I am looking to run a...

Bil Springs and non adjustable shocks

Just acquired a 2019 2500 Laramie with the offroad package. Looks like it has Bilstein B8 5100 all around and Bil springs e4-fd1-y488b00 on the fronts. Are these factory? Because the ride is pretty harsh compared to my 1500 superlfit setup that had adjustable bils on it. Currently on 20s...

2500's with 18" aftermarket wheels - show me your setup!

So, i am trading in my 4th 1500 CC for an awesome silver, midnight edition, 2500 Laramie. Currently has some crappy wheels that I do not like. Looking to go with an 18" setup and 35 ATs. Wanted to see some pics of others 18 setup on their 5th gen 2500s. I am thinking 18x9 with a -12 offset...

Trying to purchase this PW - curious if anyone knows it?

Saw that part, thanks. I did get the original window sticker. Its in the CarFax report. I am not torn between this vehicle and a 2019 2500 Laramie about 100 miles from me with only 16k miles on it. Its 4g more, but has the off road package and is leveled. Does bring a heavier payload...
