If any of you out there that have 2012 1500's with the power outlet in the arm rest have a chance can you look at where the wiring harness connects under the drivers seat and get the part number off of it so I can have my local parts guy order it for me. He has been trying to find it but of...
As long as it did not get the frame it will be fine. It is just sheet metal and plastic... Parts for newer cars and trucks are so expensive now days it is not even funny. My wife hit a deer a few years ago in her expedition at a whole 35 miles an hour and it did 7,000 worth of damage. If my...
I am thinking the tank should be a straight swap, from what I have been able to find out the 32 gallon tank is just longer and should use the same straps and fuel pump/sending unit.
Driving home from work Tuesday night, look over at stereo for a sec and when I look back up at the road all I see is face. I did not even have a chance to hit the brakes until after the impact. I am guessing it was some where around a 500 pound cow (took three grown men to drag it out of the...
I am trying to find out if there is an after market controller that will fit in the factory slot. I know that I can make the factory controller work by adding in the electrical connector and such, but if I can find a "bigger better faster" that what I want to do. I really do not want anything...
It took me about 45 minutes start to finish, I removed the springs and put the bags in from the top. As far as the valve stems go, I removed the license plate bolts and ran them through those holes. Nice and easy to get to but still looks clean.
I have the same spacers on 2012 and it will fold forward but it will only do it while lifting the bottom of the seat, the bottom needs to be about half way up and pull forward on the seat back...
Just got back from a 500 mile each way trip to visit family. Going down Carson city to Bakersfield via us 395 averaged 19.55 mpg with a distance of 389 miles driven, coming back Bakersfield to topaz via us 395 averaged 16.74 with a distance of 348 miles driven, filled up in topaz and then...
With the spacers that came with my fox box you can fold the back of the seat down. It will only "come loose" by lifting the bottom of the seat about half way up since this also lifts the back of the seat up, then you can lay the back down. It is a good place to store stuff like jumper cables...
I installed the quicklifts on my truck a few weeks ago along with rs9000's on the back. So far I like them. While I was at it I installed the myride system which allows you to adjust the damping of the shocks from inside the truck. The truck does ride a lot better with these shocks or OEM, I...
I do not remember how long it took me to get my box but I know it was at least a month and a half or better. I ended up calling them a couple of times, the first time I was told it was "back ordered" and the second time I was told that it was and had always been in stock and would be shipped...
Mine folds down now that I put the spacers for my fox box in. Just lift the lower half of the seat about half way up, pull the seat back forward and down. To put it back up just reverse the process.
I prefer OEM. In all the vehicles that I have owned in recent history (2007 F250, and now a 2012 Ram 1500) and in the wifes 2007 expedition the OEM mats seem to fit better and they are a lot thicker and seem to be made out of rubber instead of plastic so they mold better. Just my two cents..
