99 v10 timing issue?
Hey thinking about buying a 99 ram 2500 4x4 with the v10...test drove it the other day and it felt like it wasnt getting enough fuel and when i mashed on the gas it kinda backfired sounded like from the top of the motor...is this a timing issue and if so how difficult are the repairs in these...- Timberjag85

Opinions???
So im looking at 2 trucks..1st 2002 ram 2500 v10 auto 190k miles may need trans $2500...2nd 2004 ram 1500 4.7 5speed with 160k miles may need engine..not looking to spend a fortune but need a decent work truck..ive only owned 318s and 360s never had either of these engines...opinions- Timberjag85
