I have black powder coated wheels. I currently use mcquires hot wheel cleaner. It works good but they still get water spots. I use mcquires quick detailer to remove most but there has to be a better option. What do yall use? Thanks In Advance!!
I have a Fastman standard bore 85mm ported TB. It is not ported on the back side. When I bought it all I had was intake and exhaust. After talking to Dan he advised not to get his performance TB as I didn't have enough mods to warrant the extra porting. Now I have BV Heads and Cam upgrade. Would...
With the heads being milled it raises the compression. This means running 93 octane. 93 is every where here. That's not an issue. Just wondering if adding some octane booster like Torco or Klotz would be any benefit. Both are true octane boosters. And both are fuel stabilizers. Any info/opinions...
I almost have everything gathered up. Heads have 2.02/1.57 SS Ferrera Valves, PAC 1218 springs, Competition Seals and are milled 0.030. Cam is 210/218 .578/.573 113LSA 113ICL from Greene Racing. Will be using 6.1 timing set and 6.1 oil pump. Hardened pushrods from Trend. 06+ valve covers and...
We'll as the colder weather approaches it's time to get a few thing done. I'm in the a/c business so I don't have much time during the summer. But it's when I try to buy mods because I make more money during this time. I have stock piled a few parts.

Finally going to install my TC this weekend. It's got 2 quarts in it and 2 more to top it off when were done. Also changing the water pump(gaskets leaking) and installing Summit 20% UD pulley. I've got 2" McGauphys drop shackles to put on too. Not sure we'll eat to those. :D
These are from a couple weeks ago. I got a new PB and almost broke into the 14's. So close yet so far. I was hoping to get my converter in this weekend. But my dads on vacation til sat and my brothers getting married Sunday.
PullYa and myself will be having lunch at Southside Market in Elgin sat March 1st at 11:30. It would be nice to get a few more guys to come hang out, talk about trucks and put a face to the name. All are welcome to come. The more the merrier.

Finally got around to installing my gauge pod. I'm a little disappointed in the fit of the autometer pod. It should have the tabs to hold it in place on the bottom like the factory pillar does. Put nothing double sided tape won't fix. Now for the pics.
Should be putting in my TC in the next couple weeks. I'm not planning on taking the pan off. I had the Trans serviced about 4-5k miles ago. So how much fluid should I have on hand? Thanks in advance!!
Anybody have a good how too video they would like to share. I watched a couple on YouTube. Most were on trannys already out of the vehicle. What's the best way to remove the bolts from the fly wheel to the TC?
I just ordered an autometer triple gauge pod from Moes. Now I'm trying to figure out what gauges to get. I'm thinking a/f gauge, water temp, fuel pressure. My question is the gauge sensor has a 1/8"npt fitting. Is there a place on the fuel rail to connect a sensor? If so what is needed to...
Finally made it to the track. Last time I ran a 15.25@87. Only dif this time is the LT headers. It was about 10* colder last time too. I think I could have gotten a lil better. Maybe!! This was my third pass and my times kept getting better as it cooled off. They closed due to rain. So this was...
Hey Matt I was looking at these on your site and I have a question. Is there away to get the chrome inserts black? I saw pics of the painted dif colors on google and was wondering if they can be ordered black. Thanks for any info you can give me.
I'm goin to the track Friday to see if I can break into the 14's. Last time I ran a 15.25@87. I have added headers and switched to the 93 tune with 10% added fuel(recommended by Mike@Diablo). Ill be happy with a 14.99 lol. If anyone would like to join come on out.
I think my truck could really benefit from a custom tune. But my computer took a dump and I'm not sure when I'll get another one. Is there an option to data log and send you the whole programmer. You make the adjustments to the tune and send it back? If that is an option what would be the cost...
So I'm looking at the Spartan+ and Performance heads from Inertia. My question is what is the benefit of having the heads milled? I know it raises the compression so maybe my question should be what would be the benefit of raised compression?
