Column shifter broken
Anyone ever have this happen? Went to shift into reverse to back into a parking spot and SNAP ... the metal piece that holds the shifter broke. Is that a dealer thing or can I find that piece somewhere???- BeachRam

Rides like a dream!
I do like my rims. I don't love them. Not a fan of the little gray "lugs" all around the outside. Pain in the butt to clean. If those weren't on there they would be the perfect rim. So, other than picking apart the appearance ... Great rim -
Electronic Steering rack and recall?
A couple months ago, the shop that was replacing my shocks and tires got me a rack from Detroit Axle. Might be worth checking.- BeachRam

Got home from work, got out of the truck and something just smelled burnt. Looked in the wheel well, oil everywhere. Looked under the front, oil all over the cross member. Rides like a dream!
I got my rig about 4 years ago new to me. It's a 2013 1500 Express 4wd. Previous owner added a 6 inch Pro Comp lift and 35 12.50 20 nitro ridge grapplers with XD wheels (not sure of the wheel specs). Lately I had been having some issues with my steering which led to some much needed upgrading... -
2015 ram 1500 4x4 steering issue
2013 1500 5.7 ... Replaced the ball joints twice, tie rod ends twice, cv axles, steering shaft u joint and sway bar end links+bushings before I tried the rack. Fortunately or unfortunately that's what it ended up being.- BeachRam

2013 Ram 1500 rack and pinion issues......
Had my rack replaced a couple of weeks ago. I was getting some suspension work done and had that shop do the rack too. They got it from Detroit Axel. Shipping got a little messed up and the shop couldn't flash my computer with what they had... needed to call in a favor from another shop....but...- BeachRam

LED grille lights
Can anyone tell me the difference between these two? They are raptor style lights. I ordered replacements from Amazon and thought they would work. Plugged them in today and nothing. Old light on the left. New on the right. I thought it was a simple replace, plug, and play...guess not. -
Use magnets to mount a tailgate lightbar
I used the 55384. Just got it hooked up over the weekend. Perfect plug and play. Trailer plug to the harness. Harness to the plug mounted behind the bumper. 4 way flat from the harness to the Opt7 redline. Still need to wire the white reverse to the harness. -
Bestop cover issue
Anyone have issues with the Bestop roll up cover bows breaking off at their connection with the cover? The plastic piece that plugs into the end of the bow has broken on all but one. I'll have to get some pics tomorrow. It's only been on my truck for about a year. I had one on my 05 many years... -

I did get the Redline Triple with sequential turn signals. Love the look. Had to really dial in the placement. Clearance when opening and closing the tailgate seemed to be a slight issue....but I was able to move it down slightly to make it clear. I used heavy duty velcro to attach it. That...- BeachRam

It's an EAG grille. Super easy install. Took longer to decide where I wanted to wire it to. Ended up tapping into the 12V outlet fuse. Lights on when truck is on. Not exactly DRL's but still cool looking. -
