the rust release stuff wd40 has works pretty good. pulled some rotors that were seized on the hub off using it a couple months ago. pb blaster wouldn't work on another set a couple months before.
so i pulled the bottles, shroud and fan out of the truck saturday so i could clean the radiator fins. (been having some temp issues). how im thinking about wiring a three way switch so that i can go between the high and low speeds of the fan. my concern is burning the switch up on the high side...
Sweet. sounds like its gonna be sick. had a camaro just like that......but it was a 6 banger.......and had the awesome paint and primer that count get along........ok so not exactly the same but it beat newer stangs so i liked it lol
Yep, same result. no light at switch and the warning light stays on. its weird because the switch light would work and the dash would go off. went back and fourth for a couple months but now the dash is on all the time and the switch light stays out
Does your dmv check for cats? Big reason i haven't done this cuz stupid DE does so the install would kill with the custom work. And money..... need that too lol. Do you finance Matt? lol
Is there a fuse for the switch? air bag light lit is on the dash but the light for the passenger air bag switch isn't. its sporadic, the dash light will go off and the switch will be lit. dunno if it matters but i have the air bag off.
Keep an eye on the filter. i have one on mine too and underneath is all oily now. i got a longer piece of tube and re routed it up next to the brake booster. good ideas for security though. Does the starter need constant voltage? was thinking a pressure switch under the carpet would be cool and...
Dropping trans and floor jack sucks big time. had the engine and trans in my dads 72 c20 rebuilt. we took everything out and put it all back (engine trans tc). was sketchy putting the trans back in with me and my dad under the truck and my cousin working the jack.
