If I torque stall it will start to try to burn out and make a hand full of rotations the bogg out and die and it does seem to idle roll in drive with out problems until you give it throttle... I was wondering if it could be the timing but I don't have a timing light or any equipment to test it...
And also this may help, if I get in the throttle quick I am able to break the back end lose and burn the tires on my garage floor for about 2 seconds before it stalls... This also makes me think to stray away from thinking it might being the torque converter

Also could that even be the issue, from what I have ever seen if the converter goes bad you can't move at all and I can move but for only I'd say 25 to 60 feet tops, then it stalls and starts right up and goes another 25 to 60 feet and so on

It was replaced with the fuel pump less than a year ago by previous owner (I have paper work from the shop they got it done at) and I have pulled out the pump to make sure it works and as far as I can tell it functions. It's throttle body fuel injected.

One of my trucks, a 89 w250 with the 318 is having some troubles.... It runs perfectly in park or neutral but when I put it in drive it makes it about 25 feet and Boggs out and dies... I've changed full pump out recently and new tps sensor and I checked for vacuum leaks and cleaned the throttle...
