I’m jealous,it is harder to justify all the top end upgrades that would nice to do,but you should do a complete build.I can’t get the thought of a hellcat oil pump with the oe spring upgrade .Dont forget the limitations of the 8 hp70.Still don’t want the new 3L six twin turbo.

I rarely go past 3k mainly for the longevity of the D1sc blowers 6 oz oil change.But i do think about in between filter changes like I did on the break in.
I know what you’re talking about.All I know is less media area usually reduces flow and in a worse case scenario who wants to test the bypass valve.It is tuned for 7 lbs.

It’s the original block darton sleeved.going on third build. Wanted a little more then the F1c with a dedicated belt so I’m going with a newer version the F1A94.The rebuilding was lengthened by my stupid idea to do a supervettes widebody kit.The fitting and painting took 2 years and 2 shops.
I’m pretty sure a longer oil filter would work for the 5.7, has anyone found a better choice with more filter media. Pretty bad when a 4 cyl has more than double the media. I am using a Wix 57060xp
Was tired of the stock springs sagging so easily and screwing up the direction of the blinding LEDs .I went w the 70%+ general springs all I was lacking was better support for the rear whil working on the 4 post.Ram in front of building is before spring job
It was my poor reading skills.I thought that somehow you thought I used redline for 30 yrs and me not knowing if they even existed 30 yrs ago. But even so I didn’t mean anything bad.Just was trying to use old redline stock,on air compressors ,lawn mowers and rototillers knowing its 23 a qt.
