    Carven 5" Chrome tips

I block my plate in images to prevent vehicle cloning - if you've ever had this happen to you (I have, in the UK) then it can be a huge mess depending on where/when and what the clone was used for. As for driving about every day and parking it - sure people will see it - but pics on the net are...

    Lowered life problems

Are you thinking that the shocks were bottoming out? I have the same setup, -2" on Belltech Street Performance shocks (which are worn out), but I've never bottomed them out - although I have spacers on the front so my wheels scrape the arches before that happens. I'm in the market for new...

    Inez Hotrods 4/6 Drop

You would have the opposite problem of lowering without the relocating brackets. If you want to be able to return it to stock, just return it to stock - remove whichever brackets you add - one of them offers a no cut option, so that might be better for you?

Standard length shocks with 2/4 lowered springs

The ones that everyone seem to recommend (T*905 Rear and T*514 Front) are about .25" shorter than standard from what I can see.

Standard length shocks with 2/4 lowered springs

Thanks all - I guess I am a little confused because there are so many people that say you shouldn't run stock length shocks on a lowered truck, but then they say how great the QA1 shocks are - which are just about the same length as standard OEM shocks... Seems like the only "lowered" specific...

Standard length shocks with 2/4 lowered springs

Would there be a problem with using a 2/4 spring kit with standard length shocks? The BellTech Street Performance shocks that came with my kit are pretty much wrecked - I've been looking at the Rancho XL9000 adjustables, but they are only listed for standard height vehicles. Anyone know if...

Where to align lowered truck in Raleigh NC

Can anyone recommend a good alignment shop that will be able to align a lowered 2011 Ram (lowered 2/4) in the Raleigh NC area (North of Raleigh preferred but anywhere right now!) Truck also has 1.25" spacers all around, so a shop that is happy to work with those would also be good, but not...

RamForum Exhaust 4th Gen Clips and Vids

They are "programmed" not to do it, for emissions reasons unfortunately. I have wondered if it's due to the slow speed of the throttle valve when it closes, but it could also be something in the stock PCM. Same reason the revs "hang" when you rev it at a standstill. I do wonder if the Pedal...

^This^, or a box wrench that you cut down to be real short and stubby.

Do yourself a favor - add a Stubby antenna

I had the Craven Speed stubby, reception was awful - so it got sold at a garage sale I think, for $34.50 less than I paid for it I bet!! Definitely my worst mod ever.

    Matte black/gloss black two-tone

The thing with matte black on fenders/bumpers etc. is it can make the truck look like a real low spec trade type model. Plastidip is your friend here. Do one side, that way you can actually look at it both ways at the same time ;)

    belltech 2/4 drop shocks

My Street Performance shocks are about 10 months old and are done. They were great when new, but don't seem to last. They have less than 10,000 street miles on them. Not sure what I'll be replacing them with. The fronts are WAY worse than the rears. Of course, I'm just one example..

    The Pedal Commander review.

Does this do anything for the length of time it takes for the engine revs to drop as well as speed up the throttle response? I'm assuming it works mainly by increasing the speed of the valve opening in the throttle body, and therefore speeding up the response time? I wonder if it also shuts the...

    Do mufflers really get "louder"?

What is this "muffler" that you speak of? :naughty:

Finally pulled the trigger on the rims and lowered it

That looks awesome! Looks like your front wheels are right in line with the arches - do you get any rubbing when going over bumps or undulations at speed?

Belltech 2/4 Drop - how much suspension travel?

You mean the factory shocks at the front? I don't want more travel - I want less! The wheels rub the arches pretty bad. My concern is that the front is too low - mine seems like it would have been a 3/4 or even a 4/4 drop to be honest, not the 2/4 I was expecting! Interesting - the 4922 stop...

    Rear Wall Vent

That's more likely to be your 3rd brake light at the top of the cab if you haven't sealed it up, they are very prone to leaking.

Belltech 2/4 Drop - how much suspension travel?

Hey all, I have a 2011 CC with a Belltech 2/4 drop - but the front seems really low now it's settled. It will actually rub the arch on the freeway going over undulations. (Not to mention the front Belltech SP shocks are done already I think which doesn't help) however my question is, at rest...

    OTD Prices on New Rams

An after effect of this type of scenario is that the sale price of that vehicle shows as higher - so sites like truecar.com show an inflated price over time because they do not take into consideration over book trade prices. Dealer can then move the money around as they see fit, but on paper the...

    Tar or paint splatter.

Funny - in the UK there are specific products for this very purpose (Tardis, Solbitume). When I moved to the US, I wasn't allowed to ship my chemicals, so had to buy everything here - but tar remover was not one I could find. They worked just like iron remover -spray it on and you see brown...

    Chrome Clad Wheel Cleaning

How bad are they? Can you post a pic? If I don't get to wash mine for a while and they have a good amount of brake dust on them, there isn't a cleaner that gets it all off (tried CarPro IronX original and new formula, both formulas of Adams deep wheel cleaner, Adams green wheel cleaner...
