02 gauges went dead

02 1500, non of the gauges are functioning, the headlights come on as soon as the truck starts as do the tail lights but there are no working brake lights except the third light. The door locks, interior lights don't work and the security light is on continually. I can't do a self diagnostic check cause there's no odometer display showing. I have checked the 4 powers to the gauge and they all have 11.8 or so. The 4 grounds in the gauge cluster are good also. The truck has never been wrecked and no corrosion for bad wires. It only has 62k on it. Was told it was the gauge cluster but was told it could be the front control module. Has anyone had this problem and what was the fix ? To get the odometer set in a new gauge it's gonna be $800 so I want to make sure it's the gauges.
