Trusty old Redtruck is back running on the OEM PCM. Watching my AeroForce Interceptor AFR I'm seeing some pretty erratic swings. Keep in mind this is not reading the OEM O2s but an installed wideband. So I started watching the OEM Front O2s voltage and I'm getting some pretty wild swings there also with readings jumping from 40 micro volts (mv) to 850 mv. I thought I had two spare O2s but when I went to actually plug one into the wiring harness the plug is keyed ever so slightly different. I believe the two sensors I have are for 04+ model using two front O2s. Anyone needing these can contact me. Now my question, what is the normal O2s voltage reading while just driving around? The PN for a 2003 O2s is 56041698AA I'll be replacing my old one soon. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks,

I believe a graph of a good o2 voltage reading will go up and down to the extreme at idle but a good WOT run will make it flatline somewhere in the middle.
Also if an o2 does not go above 800 mv or below 50 or 100 mv it is considered defective.
After a good WOT run or the like and the pcm thinks the cats are depleted of oxygen it will try to replenish it but i forget what that line looks like at the moment lol

Thanks, should receive the new O2s today and will see how it differs from the old one installed.
Appreciate your input...

Do you have any pics of the connector? I know there are a couple different types, one is keyed straight across and the other is offset on each side from center.

The 03 sensor that I have is keyed in the center. The 04+ one's I have has the center key off center. Interesting on RockAuto under the pn listing for 56041698AA (03) also has universal O2s that have wide slots to accept the different keys offsets. This would indicate to me that they are exchangeable. But also know the 03 is very particular about what parts are used. So don't really know. I received a OEM O2s today and will install tomorrow to see how it reads. Curious...

I actually got the wrong set the first go round, they were keyed centered and my engine harness was off centered. The part number was 56029049AA, and they fit 04-05 and 09-12 5.7. Luckily 09smokinhemi was able to use them so I recouped a little bit of my money. I just replaced the upstream sensors today, and if the ones you have don't work out and fit mine I may take them off your hands to do my downstream ones.

I'll post the PN's from the ones I have tomorrow.

Do you know if the OEM o2 sensors are made by NTK or Denso?

Here's the info on the pair of O2s I have that I believe to be 04+. I have not confirmed what they actually came from.

NTK pn5602899AB these are USA made with a 4H 9 stamped on one of the flats.

Interesting. A quick google of the pn reveals nothing extraordinairy.

I call that the " garage full of spare parts" syndrome :p
