2002, 5.9, well kept 1500 Ram. When the vehicle warms up it sometimes misfires from two of the cylinders. This is unpredictable, and never has lasted longer than a couple of minutes, then runs perfectly. In city traffic, however it sometimes cause the vehicle to die, then takes a good crank to start it again.

Bizarre thing is that the tach will spike after it dies (literally the tach needle will jump to 3 or another reading while the engine is died.)

- I replaced the spark plugs
- Have been running injector cleaner every tank for the last 1000 miles.
- Cleaned all grounds

Any clue where else to turn, a computer issue?

Did you replace the wires, dis.cap and rotor button. If you just put new plugs in you didn't fix the problem you have one of those maybe breaking down until the engine warms up.Something that sounds crazy most of your Dodge AKA Ram engines wont run worth a crap without simple Copper core Champions.
