I have a 2006 megacab with a 5.7L Hemi and 273 tcase electric shift. I have a serv 4wd light on. The dealership said it was a ground fault in the shifter motor. The cleared the code. I put a new motor in it and the service 4wd light came back on right after I installed the motor. I cant get it to bring up any codes. And I really dont want to pay the dealership another $150 just to plug it in.
Anyone have insight on this?

Start checking your wiring and make sure nothing has rubbed through.Could be shorting somewhere.

I'm hoping that's the issue. I have no there lights on. The cruise control works, so I dont think it's a wheel speed sensor. The switch in the dash is new.
