Has anyone with a 2019 had their fuel pump replaced yet? Or am I just getting a run around?

My CP4 was replaced long ago. Sadly, within a few thousand miles of the pump work it burned to the ground. Total loss.

Have read in other forums of several 2019 being replaced after Recall update on Dec 2, the ones who got it done quickly were at smaller dealerships with little to no waiting list and were willing to do the work asap, for some reason smaller dealership are willing to do the work that the big boys drag there feet on doing...

Due to the new installed CP3 pump or from something else?
I can't prove anything, but with nearly 68K miles on it, it's too much of a coincidence IMHO. I believe something was undertorqued and/or misrouted.

My dealer says they just started getting and installing them a couple weeks ago.
They put me on their (official) wait list for whatever that's not worth.

Scheduled my truck last year, dropped it off and was told to pick it up, they said they had to do the 2020's first, no parts for 2019's. Scheduled again last week and had it done. Bad part...I should have at least raised the hood, 40 min drive home and smelled funny, opened the hood to find power steering fluid everywhere. It was coming out of the reservoir past the cap, way overserviced, called the dealer back to ask if they had a reason to service the power steering fluid and was told that they had no reason to. Bottom line, sorry a** technician....also left the steering wheel dirty, greasey fingerprints on the hood and tailgate, had the tailgate recall done as well. Customer Service is no longer expected. Didn't see the dirty hood or tailgate due to a torrential downpour during pick up.

Filed a complaint a few months ago with the NHTSA regarding the recall. Last week I got an email from Ram asking if I had my pump done yet. Was told to contact the dealer and set up an appointment. Got it done today. All seems good. Prior to the recall I did the grid heater delete. Probably wasn’t necessary but what a stupid design. It does happen and it was always in the back of my mind. 2019 115k miles, all stock, emissions intact. Have to work it a little to keep the DPF clear. It sits a lot and tows a 16k toy hauler in the summer. If they are saying still no parts for a 2019, complain and see if it makes a difference. It seemed to help me. 379BF616-53B8-4EB6-8D08-A3BA6172D14A.jpegBC91BC53-F762-47B2-A5ED-6D1842275977.jpeg57AE0742-46A1-4840-B48E-F591136D9267.jpegA49A6C0A-BEA3-48EA-BCB7-293916C5586C.jpeg

Parts have been available for 2019 since the first week of Dec 2022 as for grid delete, each to there own. I also see you bought that costly Banks air horn, did you get a big improvement from installing it?

There is ZERO improvement in anything with that Banks crap. Other than making your wallet lighter. It's a waste of $$$.

It’s a high quality part…yes you pay for it. Some cheap eBay parts don’t have 6 bolts to bolt it done, only 5.

not everyone will agree obviously but there is something to be said about getting what you pay for. Cheap stuff sometimes isn’t worth it.

As for any change, I haven’t driven it enough. I am interested if the tune after the cp3 swap will make any regen difference. Mine seemed to work like it is supposed to before having anything done to it.
